My experience at the conference was okay. The first thing I noticed at the conference was a company that developed IDs that parents/visitors use when entering and exiting the facilities. You know I had to get my glamour shot ID :). I thought this item would be great for our school to own because with just one swipe of the card, the information comes up onto the person computer, including whether or not they are register as a sex offender. You can also print out the exact time that each person enter and exit the school. I cant wait to share the information about the product with Dr. Goldsmith.
I wish there were more workshops that supported my advance skills in technology. I found that most of the workshops they offered I seen before at previous technology conferences. I also wish there were more vendors that had technological advances that could benefit our school.
I found the Frames 4 workshop wonderful to attend. I gained alot of information that can benefit me with my kindergarteners. I am so excited that I won a Frames 4 Software. I wish I could have won the headphones though :). I look forward to tossing my hat in and doing a workshop next year.
